Hiraeth consistently surprises me everytime I listen to it. The soundscapes are both familiar and new - I feel both fright and serenity like an out of body experience. Track 1 evokes strong emotions as does the rest of the album, and track 3 surprised me with a progression of notes playing in a sea of drones. Hiraeth by Winterblood is a must for anyone. Nil

Written in response to the climate crisis, “Leviathan” is a brooding and beautifully unsettling batch of dark ambient songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 16, 2023
Purposely scaled-back electronic music, “Intruder” is all about the texture of a few pieces of gear playing off one another. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 26, 2023
Side A: The tide comes in; the tide goes out. That which is shall cease to be, and that which was shall come again. Only impermanence endures. This law of nature applies equally to the leviathan that sports and the ruined city that rots beneath the waves; the sea swallows and restores god and mortal alike. Side B: The deliquescing gray-green creatures gather around the slimy altar. Blasphemous chants slither forth from their throats, summoning our doom. Blackness descends from the heavens.
