In the deep corners of Youtube for the past year and a half, Synth Bard has slowly been releasing analog renditions of themes from SSI's Gold Box series of video games from the early 90s. What began as fairly faithful renditions of the music soon evolved into compositions very much his own. As becomes quickly apparent when listening to the album, Synth Bard transforms these often short, 1 minute originals to longer pieces in a variety of styles: marches, EDM, ambient, switched-on-Bach style fugues, and waltzes.

We are happy to present the culmination of his work - an album featuring renditions of 9 of the original 11 Gold Box titles.
